It was my first time traveling alone and it was pretty obvious because I looked clueless. I would recommend going to the airport at least 2 - 2 1/2 hours before your flight because the check-in process and getting through security check took a while with all the lines. I cut it pretty close...so that added to the stress level quite a bit. I flew with Delta to Narita where I would hop onto a connecting flight with Korean Air to Incheon. The best part was I had the entire row to myself! But, when I landed in Narita, they informed me that I would not have enough time to get to the gate so I missed my connecting flight. Fortunately, they booked me for the next flight to Incheon with United which was an hour later. I panicked because that would mean my friends would have to wait longer at the airport, but I wasn't sure how to tell them. The only way was to use the Wifi and try to Kakao them. (Kakao is a messenger app, definitely recommend downloading this as well.) In the end, I landed in Incheon and found my friends!! Then we took a taxi to my friend's apartment. It was funny because we lugged five suitcases up a hill. Seoul, the adventure officially begins!
