Upon arrival, Yonsei was still under construction. They had ajumma and ajusshi working from early morning until sunset and made a lot of progress over the span of three months and finally finished construction of the main gate and the walkway. The new business building was also open two weeks before they finished the main gate. With this opening, all of my classes were moved to either Daewoo Annex or the new business building. This new building is so sweet! There are two floors and then two underground basement floors. Each come with a lounge area with a variety of seats, I would recommend studying in B2 Lounge as there are outlets as well. There is also a CU (convenience store) on the ground floor where you can go for snacks and drinks during class breaks. There are also escalators and lockers for your convenience. I love this building and the classrooms are very nice with good lighting and spacious seating. Before they opened up the main walkway, it was a hassle to get around because it was like a barricade in the middle of everything. But this campus sure has beautiful trees, there are neatly planted ones alongside the walkway. Near the end of October, so two weeks after the main gate construction was complete, they also finished construction of the underground plaza/parking structure. There's a foodcourt, ballrooms, exhibition hall, and the main store that sells everything from pens to electronics. Connected to the bookstore is the school store, they sell Yonsei products like buttons, pens, rings, sweaters, and letterman jackets. If you want a letterman jacket, I would say wait because if you can gather a big enough group, you can coordinate and order customized ones with colors, names, majors, numbers, etc! (I wish I waited, but I bought it early and I have the basic one.) I fell in love with the fall foliage as I'm sure many have as well. The buildings are surrounded by and covered in the changing leaves which is probably why Yonsei made it to this list: http://www.buzzfeed.com/spenceralthouse/most-beautiful-college-campuses-in-the-world#.jvjozNAxw I definitely appreciate the view and its natural beauty. Along with being one of the top schools in South Korea, it is certainly one of the prettiest campuses I have been/will set foot on.
